Description
Medium-sized, bushy evergreen shrub (H 2-3 m, W 2-2,5 m). Branches upright to open, dense, thorny. Leaves ovate to narrowly egg-shaped (4-6 cm), smooth, slightly glossy, mid to dark green. Flowers in numerous, dense umbels, small, simple (0,5 cm), cream white, scented. Fruits very numerous, round (0,4 cm), fleshy, bright yellow. Ripening time: September-October, fruits persist on branches through the winter. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds. An undemanding species, withstands urban conditions, heat, drought, cold and pruning.
