Description
Small, bushy, semi-prostrate deciduous perennial (up to 30 cm). Leaves palmately lobed, densely hairy, light grey-green. Flowers simple (2 cm), numerous, violet, with darker veins. Flowering period: June-August. Requires fertile, sufficiently drained soils, in open, sunny to half-shady sites. Geranium 'Philippe Vapelle' is a cross between G. renardii and G. platypetalum.
