Description
Small, densely growing ground-covering deciduous shrub (H up to 1,5 m, W up to 2,5 m). Branches arching, partly prostrate, bark dark red to red-brown. Leaves round to broadly ovate (1-2 cm), dark green, glossy, autumn colour red to pink-red. Flowers numerous, simple (1 cm), white with a red hue. Flowering period: June-July. Fruit round (up to 8 mm), fleshy, bright red. Very tolerant of drought, cold, diseases and pests. Suitable shrub for planting on slopes. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds.
