Description
Medium-sized, dense, upright, evergreen shrub (H 2-3 m, W 2-3 m). Leaves ovate to egg-shaped (up to 6 cm), leathery, with a slightly serrate or entire margin, glossy, dark green. Flowers in loose clusters, funnel-shaped, simple (2 cm), white, scented. Flowering period: September-October. Fruits rare or absent. A shrub for warmer regions, needs protection from cold, drying wind. Osmanthus × burkwoodii is a cross Osmanthus decorus × O. delavayi.
