Description
Small, broad, very slow growing evergreen shrub (H 0,8-1 m, W 1-1,2 m). Crown broadly spherical, dense. Leaves ovate (1,5-3 cm), leathery, glossy, dark green. Flowers numerous, in loose terminal inflorescence, funnel-shaped (4-5 cm), snow white. Flowering period: May, very freely flowering. Requires light, deep, fertile, acidic, humus-rich, sufficiently drained, but always moist soils. Grows also in moderately sunny sites. The variety belongs to a narrower group of Girard's Hybrids.
