Description
Small, broadly growing, frost tolerant (min. -5 °C) evergreen climber or ground-covering shrub (H 0,5-1 m, W up to 1 m). Stems dense branched, green, older parts woody. Leaves broadly lanceolate (2-3 cm), somehow leathery, glossy, variegated, at first white with pink spots, later white-green to green, with a pink hue. Flowers simple, star-shaped (1-2 cm), white. Flowering period: June-August. It grows well in light, humus-rich soils, in a sheltered position, protected from hot sun and strong winds. Not hardy in central-european continental climate, best grown as a container-plant or an indoor pot-plant.
