Medium-sized, upright, clump-forming, frost tolerant, evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial (60-100 cm, W 50-80 cm). Leaves broadly ovate (20-40 cm), smooth, glossy, light to mid green. Flowers in short spadix, surrounded by a white, ornamental bract, a spathe. Flowering period: June-August. Good for cutting. Not hardy in central-european continental climate, best grown as a container-plant.
