Description
Large, upright, broad, slow growing evergreen shrub, conifer (H 3-4 m, W 1,5-3 m). Crown dense, at first broadly oval, later narrower, broadly conical. Branches short, densely branched, wide open to horizontal. Needles densely arranged, scalelike, romboid to egg-shaped (0,3-0,5 cm), leathery, glossy, young needles light pink, later yellow to yellow-green, in winter orange-brown; older needles light to mid green. Flowers and fruits not remarkable. Undemanding shrub, adaptable to different soil conditions, withstands cold, wind and urban conditoins.
