Description
Large, slow growing evergreen shrub, conifer (H 2,5-3,5 m, W 1,3-1,5 m). Crown dense, conical to narrowly ovoid. Branches short, densely branched, wide open to horizontal. Needles densely arranged, scalelike, romboid to egg-shaped (0,3-0,7 cm), leathery, glossy, young needles distinctly yellow to light orange-yellow, later green; in winter partly orange-yellow. Flowers and fruits not remarkable. Undemanding shrub, adaptable to different soil conditions, withstands cold, wind and urban conditoins.
