Description
Small, broad, slow growing evergreen shrub (H 0,8-1 m, W 1,3-1,5 m). Branches widely spreading, short, densly branched. Needles (1 cm) narrow, linear, flat, young needles coppery red, later dark green; in autumn and winter dark red to violet-red. Flowers unremarkable, male and female inflorescence on separate plants; dioecious plant. Fruits rare or absent. Tolerates pruning well. Not reliably winter-hardy in central-European continental climate, some light winter protection required.
